In New Holstein, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Wisconsin, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Love this place! We are so fortunate to have such an amazing greenhouse so nearby! Selections are incredible and the plants are ready to go to make instantly beautiful pots and baskets (or you can save the work and choose from 100s of gorgeous, premade options). They have a wide variety of veggies, herbs, annuals, perennials, and trees. Their potting soil is the best too!

Best greenhouse ever ! Quality plants all healthy & so very reasonably priced . Annual packs are established & ready to be planted . Numerous greenhouses full of various varieties. Every greenhouse is well labeled along with each isle . Then you have every perineal imaginable…..also great deals & not to mention Shrubs & trees . Plan on spending your time because this place is massive but still easy to navigate. They have plenty of shopping carts & wagons to use .
